Main Objective

The goal of this competition is to inspire and engage audiences by crafting narratives that celebrate the transformational power of empowerment and resilience. Participants are encouraged to create a minimum of one week of engaging content, culminating in a powerful message posted on March 8th, International Women’s Day.

Encourage social media creators to tell stories that not only celebrate these women but also spark a movement to empower and uplift women in their own communities.

Eligibility

  • Open Participation: Individuals and teams from around the globe are welcome to join.
  • Team Structure: No limits on team size, but each team must provide a unique Team Name and appoint a Team Leader to act as the main point of contact.
  • Submission Limit: Each participant or team is allowed to submit only one entry.
  • Who Can Join: Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, a social media enthusiast, a university student, or simply passionate about storytelling, this competition is for you!
  • Responsibility for Expenses: Entrants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any other expenses incurred during the competition.
  • Presentation Requirement: Shortlisted participants will present their proposal live to the judging panel.
  • Winner Announcement and Execution: The final winner will be revealed during the judging event. The winner will then implement their proposed campaign across Agape’s social media platforms.

Submission Requirements

The final submission is a Campaign Proposal Document in PDF or Powerpoint format, with the following sections:

  1. Campaign Title: A catchy and meaningful name.
  2. Overview: Clearly outline campaign objectives and intended impact (250 words max).  This should align with the program, and showcase creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme.
  3. Engagement Plan: Suggest methods to drive interaction and awareness, such as hashtags, challenges, or community partnerships.
    • The campaign period will run for a minimum of 1 week, with the option to start as early as March 1. 
    • However, it is essential that the campaign includes March 8, as this is the date for the video posting, and the celebration of International Women’s Day.
    • Include a calendar with the planned posting dates
  4. Platform Strategy: Specify platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and why these are suitable for the campaign.
  5. Creative Assets: Descriptions of the actual collaterals that will be created and produced for the campaign
    • At least one video with the following technical requirements:
      1. Minimum Length: 5 minutes.
      2. Aspect Ratio: 16:9.
      3. Resolution: 1080p HD.
    • Storyboard of the video, should outline the key scenes, transitions, and visuals for the video(s).
    • Additional Media (Optional):
      1. High-quality photos, short clips, or other multimedia that support the narrative of the campaign.
      2. Any creative assets (graphics, icons, etc.) that complement the branding and storytelling approach.
  6. Visual Mockups: Include sample designs for the posts, or links to sample videos.

  1. Submission Method:
    • All submissions must be made via the online form. A link to the form will be provided.
  2. Campaign Proposal:
    • The Campaign Proposal document must be submitted in PDF or PowerPoint presentation format.
    • The proposal should include all the sections outlined above.
  3. Submission Deadline:
    • All submissions must be received by the deadline date. No late submissions will be accepted.
  4. Contest Briefing:
    • There will be a date when the teams are invited to participate in an online briefing where questions about the competition can be addressed.
